zooid AI is the work of Carlos Garita — a project and delivery manager by trade (PMP), an industrial designer by training, and, lately, a solo builder of products with AI.
Over three decades he has coordinated large, complex work — cloud and infrastructure, service delivery, vendor and security management, automotive functional safety. He is not a mathematician or a research scientist, and this project makes no pretense otherwise; its value, and its honesty, come from how it is run.
He builds the way he describes his own work: "AI agents doing the bricklaying and one stubborn human doing the deciding." He treats every collaborator — human or machine — as a partner to reason with, not a tool to command, and he holds one rule above the rest: verified data decides; every claim carries its provenance; and each result must name what it cannot do as plainly as what it can. He asks for the honest version, never the flattering one.
He thinks a little sideways, asks many questions, and would rather build than talk about building. He loves learning languages and plays concert flute. Based in Yokohama, Japan.
